A Cigar Blog with Reviews and Information Brought to you by True Cigars
Hello, I am Keith, Welcome to my blog. I hope that you find the information here useful.

I am an ex-pat livining in Costa Rica. I have been here since 2000, and am not necessarily looking to move on anytime soon- but you never know.

I learned Spanish after moving here, and have a respectable command of the language, however, I am burdened with a thick accent and all the rest that goes with the adult study of a forgien language.

I am a true cigar lover. My “afición” went from an occasional pastime, to weekend thing, to a daily ritual, and now to a full on hobby.

I have spent a great deal of time studying, asking, and investigating every aspect of cigars and cigar smoking. I am by no means an expert, but I would love to be one someday. The knowledge I do have, I love to share- hence the blog.

I invite questions comments etc. however I am very anti-shilling unless it is me doing it because I know of my intentions. For this reason, only until recently did I allow open comments. I will police them. No offense.

As I mentioned, I am in Costa Rica- and I have writen a good bit about cigars in costa rica. Being a small country I know the scene here pretty well. I know the owners and managers of most of the respectable Tobacco Shops, and I know many of the rumors.

I do not want to offend, so I practice the old rule, “when you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all.” I may avoid, delete, or censor certain questions. This is intentional. I will only point people in the direction of cigar dealers that I know are legit, and when possible, good people.

As always, feel free to contact me with any questions about my commentaries, cigar reviews or cigar hunting in Costa Rica.
